“I feel like I can express myself through clothing. I feel very "me" in what I wear, and it’s almost supernatural how Henry can see the person underneath and translate that lifestyle and personality into outfits.”

Describe your experience working with Henry in three words.
D.K.

Inspiring, Personal, Efficient.

How has your wardrobe evolved since working with a stylist?
D.K.

My wardrobe has evolved to not only align with my lifestyle but also to include pieces that truly complement it. It's become highly wearable—not just a collection of beautiful items, but something I genuinely enjoy every day. Packing for travel has also become effortless. Henry has shown me so many outfit combinations that I can now pack a minimal number of items but still have a maximum number of options.

Can you share a specific purchase or outfit combination we put together that has become a firm favourite? Was there a particular moment when you wore it and felt it worked perfectly?
D.K.

The Max Mara yellow taffeta skirt! I can’t think of a situation where I haven’t worn it. It's my go-to when I need to visit several different places in one day—like the office, a theatre/exhibition, and then a bar for drinks. It’s a sure way to look dressed up while feeling incredibly comfortable. Who would have thought such a piece could be so versatile? I definitely didn’t at first. I was hesitant to buy it because I thought it was too "complicated," but Henry showed me so many outfit combinations that I stepped out of my comfort zone. Now, I can’t imagine a more "me" piece of clothing than this skirt.

Looking back, how has investing in your wardrobe supported your professional growth over time?
D.K.

It has helped me bridge the gap between "jeans and jumper" and "white shirt and suit." I now realise there’s a whole spectrum between these two extremes, and I feel much more confident navigating that range.

Have there been any benefits you’ve realised since we started working together that you didn’t foresee? D.K.

Packing for travel has been truly revolutionised. What used to be an annoying, time-consuming chore has become a quick and pleasant activity. I can now pack my suitcase within an hour. Fun fact: I now travel with carry-on only—even for 7–10 day trips—because Henry’s outfit combinations are so well thought out.

What’s the most noticable difference in how you feel about your appearance since we started working together?
D.K.

I feel like I can express myself through clothing. I feel very "me" in what I wear, and it’s almost supernatural how Henry can see the person underneath and translate that lifestyle and personality into outfits.

Having worked with Henry for a while now, do you have any other feedback or experience you’d like to share that you think a new client should know?
D.K.

Henry’s recommendations often feature new ideas that feel personal to me, meaning they don’t date like familiar fashion trends. For someone working with a stylist for the first time, stepping outside your comfort zone with new colours and shapes can feel like a leap of faith. But I’ve never regretted following Henry’s guidance—while it sometimes took a little time to adjust, I’ve always been thrilled with the results in the end.
