A bit about me
I have worked in the fashion industry for 15 years in senior managerial roles for both the High Street and Luxury brand. I originally studied in fashion design specialising in tailoring and construction at degree level.
Prior to creating my Personal Shopping business, I spent the entirety of my career working on the shop floor with clients of all ages, genders, & professional profiles.
My main strength is understanding the client, the complex layers of their lifestyle and translating that into a wardrobe with an authentic sense of style coupled with professional polish.
Since 2015 I have been a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University on the Fashion Management, Marketing & Communications BA & MA courses. My areas of specialism include Retail Innovation, Consumer Behaviours and Trend Prediction.
Ethical practice within the fashion industry is something I care deeply about and I work closely with the charity Labour Behind the Label (registered no. 1159356) to fundraise and raise awareness of the fight for garment workers’ rights worldwide.
